Overview
The Royal Spice is a fully responsive, single-page restaurant website built for a luxury fine dining brand based in Pune, Maharashtra. The site features a cinematic hero section, animated menu with category filters, masonry photo gallery, testimonial slider, table reservation form with validation, and an interactive chef profile. Built with pure HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript — no frameworks or dependencies.
The challenge
Design a premium restaurant web presence that conveys luxury and trust, drives table reservations, and performs well on mobile — without relying on any external JavaScript libraries or CMS.
The solution
Built a fully custom dark-themed site using CSS custom properties for a consistent gold & black luxury palette. Implemented a vanilla JS testimonial slider, animated stat counters, scroll-reveal effects, menu filtering, and a validated reservation form — all without any dependencies. Deployed as a static site on Render for zero-cost hosting with instant global delivery.
Results
Fully responsive across all screen sizes. Lighthouse-ready static deployment on Render. Features 15+ interactive sections including animated counters, category-filtered menu, touch-swipe testimonials, and a WhatsApp float button for direct customer contact.
